Pro athletes Angela Naeth and Joel Larson launch dating app for triathletes

Are you single, train a lot, and would prefer to do your long runs or your interval rides with a partner? Triathlon Dating is a new app that can help you with this. The concept is the same as the world-renowned Tinder app, but specifically aimed at triathletes. The app was developed by pro-athletes Angela Naeth and Joel Larson.

By swiping to the right or left you indicate whether you want a match with someone or not. What’s unique is that the app is geared for triathletes and, besides personal data, you can even select for metrics like bike or running speed. In addition, you can indicate whether you are “just” looking for a training buddy, or looking for a more romantic relationship. You can also indicate what your main hobbies are besides triathlon, along with the longest triathlon you have done and the distance you are training for.

The idea was launched in 2020 and the app was launched a few days ago. At this point there are about 2,000 athletes connected to Triathlon Dating and this number is growing daily.
