Poissy Triathlon takes Europe Triathlon Mixed Relay Club Champs

France’s Anthony Pujades ran the Poissy Triathlon Team to a bit win at today’s Europe Triathlon Mixed Relay Club Championships Alhandra today, helping his team that also included fellow French athletes Lea Coninx and Yann Allichon, along with Australia’s Natalie Van Coevorden to take the win in 1:23:08.

The Poissy team was running neck and neck with another French team – Metz Triathlon (that team included Hungary’s Zsanet Bragmayer along with French athletes Maxime Hueber-Moosbrugger, Jeanne Lehair and Nathan Guerbeur) – through the first three legs of the race before Pujades unleashed a great final run to pull clear. Metz finished 23 seconds back in a time of 1:23:31.

The final spot on the podium went to Germany’s DSW 1912 Darmstadt e.V. Triathlonabteilung (an all-German squad that included Jule Behrens, Henry Graf, Lucie Kammer and Mika Noodt), which finished in 1:24.03.

Triathlon Team Potsdam – Jolanda Annen (SUI), Justus Topper (GER), Laura Lindemann (GER) and Jorik Van Egdom (NED) – took fourth in a time of 1:25:00.

A total of 12 teams took part in the event in Alhandra, Portugal. Each athlete completed a 250 m swim, 6.750 km bike and a 1.7 km run.
