It’s not clear where Brad Culp got his information, but the Triathlete Magazine columnist lets it be known that Jan Frodeno is not racing the Ironman World Championships in St. George, which takes place in May.

Culp reports this on his personal Twitter account. Frodeno, still reigning World Champion Ironman, would go all out to win the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii one more time, which will take place in October. This “extra” World Championship in St. George would not fit well into his schedule. On the socials of Frodeno is still nothing to find.

For triathlon fans it is in any case a big disappointment if Frodeno does not race, because many fans around the world were looking forward to the battle between him and the Norwegian Kristian Blummenfelt.
