On Sunday, six teams of pro triathletes, athletes of the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) and two special gusts will battle at the Pro Am-Relay in Los Angeles. CAF-athletes – athletes with a disability – will kick off with a 1500-meter swim, then pro athletes will bike 40 km, and finally one of the CAF-athletes or a special guest will run 10 km. One of these special guests is the famous UFC fighter Paul Felder. The other special guest is Olympic silver medalist in pentathlon, Heather Fell. The PTO just announced the teams.
Team 1: swimmer and runner Haven Shepherd, Lionel Sanders, and UFC fighter Paul Felder
Team 2: swimmer and para climber Emily Gray, Sam Long, and swimmer and para triathlete Rudy Garcia-Tolson
Team 3: para triathlete Alyssa Seely, Daniel Baekkegard, and Olympic silver medalist in pentathlon Heather Fell
Team 4: swimmer Ahalya Lettenberger, Holly Lawrence, and swimmer and para triathlete Roderick Sewell
Team 5: para triathlete and hand biker Andre Kajlich, Skye Moench, and “influencer” Shirley Alvarez
Team 6: para triathlete Chris Hammer, Heather Jackson, and para triathlete, cyclist and marathoner Willie Stewart
