Ironman 70.3 New York

Ironman 70.3 New York – Jones Beach triathlon is set to make its debut on Saturday, September 23, 2023. IM reports that approximately 3,800 registered athletes, from 46 US states and 43 countries, regions, and territories will be traveling to Long Island to participate in the inaugural event. The race is only for Age Groupers.

In April, Ironman already announced that general registration for the Ironman 70.3 New York – Jones Beach triathlon had sold out, making the new event the largest inaugural Ironman 70.3 event in the history of the Ironman 70.3 brand and the first IM branded event to take place on Long Island.

Athletes will kick off their journey with a 1.2-mile swim in Zach’s Bay just outside the Jones Beach Amphitheater before embarking upon the 56-mile closed bike course on the flat and fast Wantagh Parkway. The 13.1-mile run course takes athletes onto the boardwalk alongside the Atlantic Ocean with a finish line experience on the beach.
