She said goodbye to her life as a professional athlete last year after the Ironman World Championships on Kona but Michelle Vesterby is still enjoying the sport of triathlon. Even so much that the Danish athlete started last week at the Ultraman Arizona: a double triathlon in which participants swim 10 kilometers, bike 423 kilometers and run 84 kilometers in three consecutive days.

Vesterby raced for a good cause, but most of all, she raced incredibly well. She took the overall win in a time of 24 hours, 3 minutes and 9 seconds, making the difference with the first man, American Justin Hollman, more than 2 hours and 20 minutes.
