First IM 5150 to Paraguay

Ironman has announced that the city of Encarnación, Paraguay will host the first-ever 5150 triathlon in Paraguay in 2025. The inaugural 5150 Paraguay triathlon is set to take place on April 13, 2025 and will welcome athletes from around the world to experience the 5150 format, against the backdrop of Encarnación’s beautiful Costanera along the Paraná River.
 
The 5150 triathlon features the standard Olympic triathlon distance of 1.5 km (0.93-miles) of swimming, 40 km (24.85-miles) of cycling, and 10 km (6.2miles) of running. The event is expected to draw significant attention, both locally and internationally, positioning Encarnación as a prime destination across Latin American and global sporting events.
