The full professional start list for Challenge Roth has been confirmed, with two of the sport’s biggest names set to line up on July 5. Sam Laidlow and Patrick Lange will both return to the iconic German long-distance race, aiming to add another Roth victory to their palmarès.
Lange has previously claimed victory at Challenge Roth, while Laidlow captured the title last year. The Frenchman will therefore return in 2026 not only as one of the favourites, but also as the defending champion, hoping to successfully defend the crown he earned in 2025.
With the addition of these two world-class athletes, the professional field is now complete. The race had already attracted a number of big names, making this year’s edition of Challenge Roth one of the most competitive in recent years.
