With less than two weeks to go until Ironman 70.3 Dubai, the season will soon kick off for many triathletes around the world. And it won’t take long before the next event takes place, because Challenge Salou (Spain) is scheduled for Apr. 3. Already, over 80 pro triathletes signed up. One of the latest and an impressive addition to the start list is Vincent Luis.
There’s no doubt that the Frenchman is hungry to make up for Ironman 70.3 Indiana Wells, where he crashed a few months ago. He got hit by a car during the bike part, which saw him drop back to second place.
Luis can expect a tough battle in Spain, though. Another impressive name on the start list is the name of Germany’s Patrick Lange and last year’s winner, Collin Chartier (USA).
Triathlon Today will be on location for a live report of the event.
