Yesterday, Challenge Roth announced the men’s pro field. A very impressive list of top athletes, of which defending champion Magnus Ditlev is one of the biggest favorites for sure. In any case, the Dane is looking forward to his return to Roth.
“I’m excited to share this news with you! I will be on the start line, aiming to defend my Challenge Roth title from 2022 on June 25, 2023. My win at Challenge Roth last year was the best performance of my career so far. To be a part of this legendary race was on my bucket list, and to win it in my first try was simply amazing. The atmosphere all day long was incredible and I can’t thank Felix Walchshöfer and the Challenge Roth team, the volunteers, and all the spectators enough. I hope all triathletes will get to race Roth at least once in their life! The field will be stacked as always, and I hope to be able to contend for the win, and maybe even better my time, which was just 9 seconds short of Jan Frodeno’s record.
