Lionel Sanders was not at the front during the PTO US Open – he eventually finished 11th – and that is undoubtedly not the result he had in mind. Especially not with the Ironman 70.3 World Championships coming up soon in Finland, where Sanders hopes to shine.

Meanwhile, Sanders stays in Arizona for only a few more days before traveling to Finland. That will also be his first international trip with his newborn son.
