After a successful first edition – though one that notably missed its much-talked-about cruise ship – Challenge Sir Bani Yas is gearing up for an even more prestigious second edition. Next year, athletes will have the unique opportunity to stay aboard a luxury cruise ship, docked directly beside the start and finish area.
The race will take place on the weekend of January 31-February 1, 2026, on the man-made island of Sir Bani Yas (Abu Dhabi). Known for its incredible wildlife, the island offers a truly one-of-a-kind race experience, where competitors will run and ride past gazelles, giraffes, buffalos and much more in a protected nature reserve setting.
