The Ironman Group and Salomon have announced a five-year global partnership set to begin in 2027. The agreement establishes the outdoor brand as an Ironman Global Premier Partner across performance footwear, apparel, and technical bags, alongside taking over as the title partner of the iconic Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii, throughout the duration of the deal.
As part of the multi-year agreement, Salomon will activate across the run course – officially designated as the Salomon Run Course – at all Ironman-owned events included in the deal across the United States and Europe. The brand will also serve as the title or presenting partner for a selection of major middle and full-distance races, including events in Oceanside, Texas, Chattanooga, Lanzarote, Lake Placid, Oregon, and Jones Beach.
To inform future product design and tailor equipment specifically to multi-sport demands, Salomon will collaborate directly with professional triathletes Marjolaine Pierré, Julie Iemmolo, and Casper Stornes. Furthermore, the brand will deploy its Salomon Performance Program, led by sports scientist Aitor Viribay, to conduct specialized research into biomechanics, nutrition, and recovery.
While the primary contract officially begins in 2027, initial activations will launch at the 2026 Ironman World Championship on October 10, 2026. The preview will feature an immersive pop-up experience at Kona Heaven alongside elite trail running athletes Courtney Dauwalter and Jessie Diggins.
