BMC Pro Triathlon Team Powered By 2XU announces 2021 athletes and ambitions

The BMC Pro Triathlon Team powered by 2XU has announced its team roster for 2021.

 “Since the launch of the international team in 2014 the results have been outstanding with the team finishing on the podium in nearly 50% of the races, claiming 109 victories in the past seven years, including eight continental championship titles, two Vice-World titles, two podium finishes at the World Championship Ironman in Hawaii and victories in a number of the most prestigious races on the calendar,” CEO Bob De Wolf said in the press release.

The team cemented its dominance during the shortened 2020 season with three Ironman wins. BMC announced its commitment to the team, extending its contract with the squad for another two years. 2XU ups their commitment to the team as the “powered by” sponsor. Other sponsors joining the already well-supported team include: 6D Sports Nutrition, Muc-Off, ZEN8 and Supersapiens. The seven member team comes from 6 different nations with five men and two women.

Pablo Dapena (ESP), Chris Leiferman (USA), Katrina Matthews (GBR), Patrik Nilsson (SWE), Max Neumann (AUS), Chelsea Reilly Sodaro (USA), Kristian Hogenhaug (DEN).
