The Mallorca 140.6 Triathlon, scheduled for Sept. 25, 2021 in Playa de Muro (Mallorca, Spain), will limit the number of participants to 600. The organizing team says this is to adapt to local rules and regulations, as well as health and safety measures for sport events announced by the Balearic Islands Government.
“We are living in tough and uncertain times in which it is difficult to control situations as an organization, but it is our responsibility to take decisions to give the maximum guarantees to the triathletes who have chosen the Mallorca 140.6 Triathlon,” said race director David Thompson.
He continued, “These decisions, such as the one to cancel the 2020 edition, returning the registration fee, are made by applying transparency and taking care of the participants, which is the objective and philosophy of this race.”
