The championship series races will be part of a six-month program that will include weekly sprint-, Olympic- or half-distance VR races. Each month will feature a different theme – “Flat and Fast,” “Coastal,” “Urban,” “Athlete’s Choice,” “Countryside” and “Alpine.” Things kick off in March with flat and fast courses like Ironman Western Australia, Ironman 70.3 Eagleman, Ironman 70.3 Davao and Ironman 70.3 Lahti Finland. The final month of the series will feature tougher “Alpine” courses.
