The Challenge Family The Championship, originally scheduled for May 23, has been postponed to August 29.

“We regret having to deliver this news, but want to give our athletes the clarity they deserve. Of course, we would have liked to enjoy this flagship event with everyone in May, but unfortunately that appears to be impossible,” says race director Melisa Kubalcová. “Not only do we want everyone to be able to travel safely to Samorin, but we also want to ensure safety at our race venue. Therefore, we now come to the difficult decision to move the event to August 29.”

This means The Championship and the associated events will take place on the same weekend as the Collins Cup, making for an exciting weekend of racing. The age-group competitors will have the chance to see the world’s best triathletes compete in a team format as Europe, the US and the International squads of 12 athletes each compete for the Collins Cup the day before their race.

The events all take place at the x-bionic sphere in Samorin, Slovakia.
