Three-time Ironman World Champion Mirinda Carfrae (2011, 2013 and 2014) is getting back into shape after having her second child. In a recently posted video, the Australian athlete, who is married to American Timothy O’Donnell – a second- and third-place-finisher at the Ironman World Championship – explains what motherhood means to her and how she combines being a mom with being a professional triathlete who’s eager to get her “fitness back to peak performance.” Only five months ago, the Cafrae-O’Donnell family welcomed their second child to the family: Finnian, younger brother to three-year-old Isabelle.

After giving birth to their oldest child, Cafrae enjoyed an impressive comeback to the sport, winning five Ironman 70.3 races and finishing in fifth in Kona, so Cafrae is knows exactly what it takes to get fit again after pregnancy.
