The triathlon superstar family of Mirinda Carfrae and Tim O’Donnell grew early in 2021 with the arrival of their son Finnian on January 4. The couple, who are based in Boulder, CO., will have their hands full with their eldest daughter Isabelle, 3, now a big sister. While O’Donnell is coming off a 16th place at the PTO 2020 Championship, the American pro will look towards full distance events this year, including trying to improve on his runner-up finish in Kona in 2019 in addition to being a dad.
Three-time Ironman world champion Carfrae enjoyed an impressive come back after the birth of Isabelle in August, 2017, with numerous wins and a fifth-place finish in Kona in 2018. She’s planning on competing in Kona later this year.
