[VIDEO] Throwback to record race World Championship Long Distance at Challenge Almere-Amsterdam

Challenge Almere-Amsterdam had the honor of organizing this year’s World Triathlon Long Distance Championship. A race over the classic distance that turned into a great success given the record times that athletes noted: Denmark’s Kristian Blummenfelt was with a finish time of 7:37:46 hours extremely fast in the men’s race and Dutch’ Sarissa de Vries was on fire in the women’s race, clocking a new Dutch record: 08:32:04 hours. Since it was such a special event – and given the fact that there are nearly no races this weekend – we would like to look back at this magical moment through the video below:
