Ironman announces new race tomorrow, most likely in Augusta, USA

‘Big news coming tomorrow.’ This is what Ironman published on it’s Facebook page two hours ago, including a message that a new Ironman 70.3 will be announced and a small part of a picture is shown. However, that picture gives away too much info; the race will most likely take place in Augusta, the capital of Maine.

When the race will take place is not yet known, as the event will be announced tomorrow, but the photo used is taken by Sean Povone, is on Shutterstock and shows the American city Augusta. It is a small city in the south of the state, with a population of just under 20,000 people. The Kennebec River runs through the city.
