There is no real Challenge Roth without Solar Hill: thousands of spectators gather here and form an honor guard through which all the athletes bike to loud applause. Even the very best athletes visibly enjoy themselves at this world-famous point on the course. Fenella Langrigde, last Sunday the first female athlete to pass here, did so in her very own way!
