In less than a week time, we will see some of the best pro triathletes in our sport battle for the medals at the Ironman World Championship on Hawaii. In the women’s race, more than 50 athletes will give it their all to try to pimp their palmares with an incredible performance on Kona. Check out who are racing on the updated start list below.
Kat Matthews is no longer on the start list. Matthews – the runner-up of the Ironman World Championship in St. George – suffered some big injuries after a bike-car crash earlier this week. She hasn’t officially stated not to race, but it seems likely we won’t get to enjoy Matthews racing on Kona.
