While many triathletes are always working to lose as much weight as possible and stay around race weight, the same is not true for everyone. For example, Sebastian Kienle recently posted a message on his socials stating that he wants to lose a few pounds for his last season as a pro athlete, but has not really watched his weight more often because it is quite a dangerous subject. Laura Philipp even does it completely the other way around: during her training camp, she has to keep eating properly in order to stay right on her weight and thus especially not lose weight.
