The PTO has found a new location for a T100 race in Vancouver for next year. The organization itself has not yet communicated about this new location in Canada, but local media are already reporting that the ‘Vancouver Park Board’ has approved an event application for the weekend of June 13-15, 2025.

The race would take place in and around Jericho Beach Park, and the submitted – and thus approved – application can be found here. The race, of course, will be for both men and women, and in addition to the pro races, Age Group and Junior Races will take place as well. In the application the possibility of returning in 2026 is taking into account.

Certainly the latter is of interest to the PTO, as it has struggled several times in recent years to bind race venues longer or attract new race venues. This year, for example, the PTO’s Grand Final did not go ahead at its original location. This was communicated only some weeks before the race would have take place.
