The PTO, alongside Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism and the Dubai Sports Council, has announced that Al Mamzar will serve as the new venue for the 2026 Dubai T100 Triathlon. Scheduled for 13–15 November, the event marks the penultimate leg of the nine-race T100 Race to Qatar series.
Following two previous editions hosted at the Meydan Racecourse, the move shifts the event to Dubai’s coastline. The course features swim legs off Al Mamzar’s beaches, a bike course passing through Al Hamriya Port, Dubai Islands, Port Rashid, and over the Infinity Bridge, and a run course utilizing the paths of Al Mamzar Park and its corniche.
The 2026 event features an updated competition structure. Under the revised format, male and female professional triathletes compete in separate individual T100 weekends prior to the season finale in Qatar from 10–12 December. Consequently, the professional women’s race will take center stage in Dubai this year. Each athlete’s top three T100 race scores, along with the final, will determine the T100 World Championship standings.
For amateur competitors, the event has expanded its offerings to include relay options for both the T100 and Sprint distances, as well as a new Olympic distance option consisting of a 1.5km swim, 40km bike, and 10km run.
The triathlon weekend will coincide with the tenth edition of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, a citywide initiative running from 31 October to 29 November that encourages residents to complete 30 minutes of daily activity for 30 consecutive days. The event is expected to build on the growth of previous editions; last November’s event at Meydan drew 8,000 amateur participants and over 15,000 spectators.
Speaking on the venue change, PTO CEO Sam Renouf noted, “As we prepare to return to the UAE for the 3rd edition of T100 Dubai, we’re excited to share the new home for the event, Al Mamzar Beach, one of the flagship strategic projects of Dubai Municipality. Following the stunning redevelopment of the area, this will mean a single venue for the event, including the T100 and the recently announced Olympic distance and relay events – improving the experience for participants, spectators and fans.”
