France’s Aurelia Boulanger has just won Ironman 70.3 Mont-Tremblant by a wide margin. After a somewhat difficult swim leg, where she lost nearly four minutes, she quickly surged ahead on the bike and left everyone behind.
At the start of the half marathon, Boulanger already held a one-minute lead over Lisa Becharas, while the other women trailed by at least six minutes. During the run, the eventual winner’s lead only continued to grow.
