Paris Saint-Germain has teamed up with indoor training platform Zwift, WorldTour cycling squad Groupama-FDJ UNITED, and a lineup of endurance brands to launch We Ride Paris. Running from August 17 to September 13, 2026, the initiative bridges the worlds of football, cycling, and connected fitness through a shared community challenge.
Whether logging virtual miles or riding outdoors, participants are challenged to complete a distance of at least 16.4km. On Zwift, cyclists can ride an in-game replica of the Wilier Filante SLR ID2 through a virtual Parisian route taking in iconic landmarks like the Champs-Élysées and Montmartre, or join group rides alongside Groupama-FDJ UNITED pros. Non-Zwift users can participate by submitting a GPS log of their outdoor ride via their preferred sports tracking application.
The initiative features several major highlights and community incentives:
- Parc des Princes Finale: Six draw winners will earn an exclusive invitation to ride on Zwift inside PSG’s home stadium alongside club personalities and professional cyclists.
- Charity Auction: Wilier and Zwift are donating five custom-designed Filante SLR ID2 bikes and five Zwift Ride smart bikes featuring artwork by artist Edgar Plans. Proceeds will benefit PSG For Communities and the Xana Foundation.
- Prize Pool: Participants stand to win VIP race access, Zwift Ride setups, WHOOP wearables, custom kits, and PSG store vouchers.
By pairing top-tier football with WorldTour cycling and digital fitness tech, We Ride Paris offers endurance athletes a unique cross-discipline event driven by a charitable cause.
