Sam Long got penalized during the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in St. George and that penalty ruined his race for sure. After the race Long was ‘drowning in sadness and anger’ and almost nobody understood why Long got the penalty. Ironman therefore felt the urgency to explain the penalty.
