Two years ago, Sam Laidlow was leading Challenge Gran Canaria, but then he crashed together with Thomas Davis and Andrea Salvisberg. He ultimately did not finish the race and so he has some “unfinished business” on the Canary Island. A lot has happened in Laidlow’s career in the past two years and he is now an established name among the best top athletes in the world. This makes him one of the biggest favorites for the race on April 22.
