The European Championships Aquathlon have just taken place – as part of the European Multisport Championships in Banyoles – with Spain’s Jonay Alvarez Almazan and Slovenia’s Tjasa Vrtacic claiming the victories. In the women’s race, New Zealand’s Nicole van der Kaay was faster, but she is naturally ineligible for the European title. Below are the top ten finishes for both the men’s and women’s races.
