Lionel Sanders seems to have found the perfect way to get used to Jan Frodeno’s face, which he will get to see a lot on Jul. 18 when the two top athletes battle each other during a side-by-side, full distance triathlon: the Tri Battle Royale. After some trash talking on social media, the two decided to challenge each other for a race.
A bike shirt with Frodeno’s face on it is supposed to help Sanders get used to his competitor. Whether he will end up seeing Frodeno much throughout the race remains to be seen, though. After a disappointing race at Ironman Coeur d’Alene, Frodeno will probably not fear his opponent too much.
