After winning the World Championship Xterra on Maui, Olympic champion Flora Duffy now enjoys a well-deserved offseason on the Hawaiian island. But it’s not like she completely stopped working out, she just temporarily replaced the swim-, bike- and run gear for a surfboard. After all, besides an island of triathlon, Hawaii is all about wave surfing. “Amateur hour”, she posts on Instagram with a photo of herself on a wave.
Bermuda’s golden girl isn’t only enjoying wave surfing, she seems to still like the mud, even after all the off-road triathlon adventures on Maui earlier this month. Only, this time, Duffy will have all the time to take in the scenic view.
