It has become a great tradition amongst “Zwifters” and it’s back on the calendar for January and February next year: Tour de Zwift. In 2021 the virtual tour returns with eight rides on the schedule, each with a choice of a short and long tour. To win the special jersey, cyclists need to complete all eight “stages.”
The first stage can be ridden between the Jan. 4 and 8, while the last stage needs to be completed between Feb. 8 and 12. At the end of the Tour participants will be given the opportunity to make up for a ride in case they missed one. The Tour will feature a variety of landscapes and has both flat and hilly stages. During the third stage – between the Jan. 14 and 18 – cyclists will challenge themselves on the virtual Mont Ventoux.
