Captured in images: individual men’s race Tokyo Olympics

While the women are trying to catch some sleep in order to be fit for their race – which starts in a couple of hours (Jul. 27 06:30 AM local time) – we can already enjoy the photos of yesterday’s individual men’s race. It was Norway’s Kristian Blummenfelt who took the gold after an impressive run. Britain’s Alex Yee claimed the silver medal, and the bronze medal was won by New Zealand’s Hayden Wilde. A beautiful race that required some patience, not only because of a false start, but also because it all came down to the run after a big group was formed on the bike.
