It seems like a beautiful idea – and of course in the end it is – but there are things you have to consider when asking someone to marry you right after finishing a Long Distance triathlon. Estonia’s Marti Alt proposed to his now wife last year after finishing Ironman Tallinn. His hamstring didn’t fully agree with him going on one knee right after making such an effort, though. In the video below, you can see how Alt cramps up. Fortunately, some people helped him out, and he could continue the – successful – proposal.
