‘Meet the billionaire who wants to turn ‘underdog’ triathlon into the world’s biggest sport’

With last weekend’s Collins Cup – won by Team Europe – the PTO continues to work hard to change the sport of triathlon. Sir Michael Moritz is PTO’s major investor – and with estimated assets of around 5.4 billion dollar, he has deep pockets – and he was on site to watch the race. The Telegraph made a nice interview with Moritz and talked to him about the sport of triathlon and his motivation for investing in it.
