It’s the kind of news that makes you shiver as a triathlete: last weekend, at Ironman 70.3 Duisburg, a 67-year-old man died. The man was taken out of the water by a rescue team, who began CPR. The athlete was brought to the hospital, where he passed away.
Ironman 70.3 Duisburg hosted over 3000 participants. The event wasn’t cancelled after this tragic incident.
