Frederic Funk finished fifth at the World Championship Ironman 70.3 last weekend, experiencing a great race. Already during the bike Funk was in the leading group – together with Kristian Blummenfelt among others – and with a blistering 2:00:27, Funk set the second overall bike time. In total he rode over eighteen minutes above 400 (!) watts, an average of 313 watts/335 watts normalized and his peak ten-minute time was 383 watts. Funk again shared his bike data and the statistics are quite impressive.
