In a race that was decided in both the men’s and women’s runs, Samuele Angelini (ITA) and Tanja Neubert (GER) just won the Europe Triathlon Cup in Kitzbühel, Austria. In both races, the margins were pretty small.

Neubert won the race in a time of 56:48, staying just ahead of her compatriot Selina Klamt, who finished second in 56:52. In the end, he won the race in a time of 50:45, just enough to stay ahead of German Jannik Schaufler (50:49). Spaniard Esteban Basanta Fouz finished third in 50:53.
