Lionel Sanders: ‘Still a lot of work to be done’

Lionel Sanders was not at the front during the PTO US Open – he eventually finished 11th – and that is undoubtedly not the result he had in mind. Especially not with the Ironman 70.3 World Championships coming up soon in Finland, where Sanders hopes to shine.

“Had a fun time in Milwaukee at the PTO US Open. Got the most out of myself on the day but still a lot of work to be done.”

Meanwhile, Sanders stays in Arizona for only a few more days before traveling to Finland. That will also be his first international trip with his newborn son.
