No pro race at Clash Daytona

After Clash Daytona continued as an independent race – separating from Challenge Family a few years back and then changing from Challenge Daytona to Clash Daytona – the race seems to be having a pretty tough time. This year, for the first time, there will be no professional race.

Clash Daytona is scheduled for the first weekend in December. The organization (Clash, ed.) has not yet officially announced that there will be no pro race this year, but pro athletes have already received messages that they don’t need to count on participating. What this decision means for Clash Miami, among others, scheduled for March 8 through 10, 2024, is still unclear.

Clash already caused a stir this year by no longer broadcasting a live stream of the Miami race, only publishing a documentary of the race a few months later. Attracting enough Age Groupers is also proving difficult for the organization.
