The Pho3nix Foundation, founded by Polish businessman and philanthropist Sebastian Kulczyk, has become a new sponsor of Ironman events in Poland and the Czech Republic.

As part of an agreement with event organiser Sport Evolution, the foundation becomes the title partner of Ironkids, which accompanies Ironman events in Warsaw, Gdynia, Poznań and Hradec Králové.

The Pho3nix Foundation supports local and regional triathlon competitions across the world. It also organizes sports camps for children and teenagers, and cooperates with elite athletes, including: Jonathan and Alistair Brownlee, Nicola Spirig and Vincent Louis.

The Pho3nix Foundation was also the originator and implementer of the Sub7 – Sub8 project, which set the fastest results in the history of iron distance triathlon.

Wojciech Kruczyński, member of the board at the Pho3nix Foundation, said “Creating a global heritage where sport and activity are an integral part of the personal development of all young people is our mission.

“The Ironkids competition perfectly fits our goals because it contributes to the popularization of sports among children and teenagers. We are happy that together with the organizers of the Ironman competition in Poland and the Czech Republic we will be able to promote our values.

“We are convinced that our cooperation will contribute to the further popularization of the discipline. Who knows, maybe a future Olympic champion will take their first steps at a Pho3nix Ironkids competition.”
