He won the first PTO T100 race in Miami last month and is considered one of the biggest favorites for the overall standings as well, but for now it is highly uncertain whether Magnus Ditlev will start next Sunday in Singapore, where the second race of the series takes place. The Danish athlete suffered a major injury a few days ago after a bike crash and does not know if he will make it to the start.

Ditlev crashed while riding his bike due to a speed bump he did not see and mainly injured his wrist. At the hospital, it soon became apparent that there was a fracture. While the fall occurred last Tuesday and thus the fracture is still fresh, Ditlev is considering starting anyways. However, he will not make the decision until next Saturday at the latest, one day before the men’s race will take place.

Until then, Ditlev continues to prepare as if he will be at the start. Ditlev does indicate that he will not force anything unnecessarily though, because the season is still very long and more important races are coming up.
