The Championship – Challenge Family’s most important Middle Distance race, held every May and taking place in Samorin, Slovakia – is getting a free-to-watch livestream once again this year. This livestream is provided by Challenge Family and Rouvy and will offer a view of the race where many of the world’s best athletes will be at the start line.
The full starting field for The Championship has yet to be announced, but big names such as India Lee, Lucy Buckingham, Rico Bogen and Daniel Baekkegard have already been confirmed. In total, about sixty professional athletes will compete at The Championship.
The live stream comes with commentary of ‘The Voice of Challenge Family’ Belinda Granger and a number of special guests. In addition, the stream is thus sponsored by Rouvy, an indoor cycling program. Challenge Family and Rouvy have been partners for years and many of the Challenge Family bike courses – including the bike course of The Championship – can be digital done via Rouvy.
The Championship will take place on May 19. Triathlon Today will host live reports from the event location.
