After the Europe Multisports Championships a few weeks back in Coimbra, Portugal, turned out not to be a great success – there were few participants in almost all races and most of the world’s top athletes were missing – the week with several European Championships will disappear from the calendar next year. In contrast, two separate European Championships, in Poland and Spain, will be organized.
The European Championship Middle Distance and the European Championship Aquathlon will take place in Pamplona, Spain, although the dates are not yet fixed. The organizing committee is looking at several options during the month of May. The Polish city of Rumia will be the battleground for the European Championship Sprint Duathlon from April 25 to 27.
There is no information yet about a possible European Championship Cross Duathlon and European Championship Cross Triathlon.
