It’s awards season once again at Challenge Family with voting for the Challenge Family Race Awards opening today, 11 December 2024. The Awards were established in 2019 to celebrate the race organisers, volunteers and everyone who works behind the scenes to deliver the best race experience possible for the athletes at Challenge Family events around the world. Each year thousands of athletes cast their vote for their favorite Challenge Family experience.
Nominations for each category were decided on the strength of athlete feedback in the post-race surveys that are sent out after every Challenge Family race. The categories are:
- Best Race Venue
- Best New Race
- Best Swim Course
- Best Bike Course
- Best Run Course
- Best Finish Line Party
- Best Fans
- Best Pasta Party
- Best After Race Food
- Most Eco Friendly
- Most Family-Friendly
In addition, athletes also vote for the Challenge Family Race of the Year which last year was won by Challenge St Pölten.
Voting for the Challenge Family Race Awards 2024 starts at 8:00am CET on Wednesday 11 December, closing at 23:59pm CET on Sunday 22 December at www.challengefamily.com/awards. The winners will be announced on Wednesday 14 January 2025.
