Zwift Ignites ‘Tour Fever’ with Month-Long Celebration This July

Zwift Tour Fever

As the summer heats up, so too does anticipation for cycling’s most iconic race – the Tour de France. Zwift, the Official Training Software Provider of the Tour, is embracing the energy with a packed July calendar designed to immerse its global community in the excitement of the Tour de France.

A Virtual Climbing Challenge Inspired by the Pros
Leading the charge is the new Climb Portal Challenge, inviting riders to test their legs on four legendary ascents featured in the 2025 Tour de France. From the punchy slopes of the Mûr de Bretagne (Stage 7) to the alpine majesty of the Col de la Madeleine (Stage 18), the challenge also includes the Col de la Croix Saint-Robert (Stage 10) and Hautacam (Stage 12). Riders can tackle the climbs in any order, collecting digital rewards along the way. Those who conquer all four earn the exclusive Didi the Devil Kit and Cap – a nod to the race’s most legendary superfan.

Group Rides, RoboPacers & Real Road Replicas
Throughout July, Zwifters can take part in Climb Portal Events, offering the camaraderie of group rides on some of the Tour’s most grueling virtual climbs. These rides are powered by RoboPacers, ensuring a steady tempo and a social atmosphere—perfect for athletes of all levels looking to replicate a peloton-style experience.

The excitement continues July 18–20 with the return of L’Étape Virtual, mirroring the famed amateur event L’Étape du Tour de France. This year marks a first: all RoboPacers start together, giving participants the freedom to find their pace and ride their own race on Zwift’s immersive platform.

On July 22, Zwift celebrates the pros’ assault on Mont Ventoux (Stage 16) with special group rides up Ven-Top, Zwift’s in-game tribute to one of cycling’s most revered climbs.

Workouts from the Peloton & Tour de France Atmosphere
For those focused on structured training, Zwift’s Workout of the Week series throughout July will feature sessions inspired by riders from the Alpecin-Deceuninck team. Whether you’re chasing fitness or gearing up for your own endurance goals, these pro-designed workouts promise to push your limits.

The platform itself is getting a makeover, too. Expect Tour-inspired road art, themed RoboPacers, and a digital environment buzzing with Tour Fever flair – all designed to bring the drama of the French roads to life in your own pain cave.
