This past Sunday we witnessed perhaps the most exciting Ironman World Championship in years: the world’s top athletes stayed close together for a long time, and only in the final stages of the marathon was the race decisively locked down by three dominant Norwegians. Of course, a lot was happening further back in the field as well – especially among the Age Groupers who were also competing – and the video below gives a beautiful impression of that:
