Over the past few years, several T100 races have been relocated or even cancelled at the last minute. The PTO has announced multiple ambitious plans that never materialized, and meanwhile, TV ratings have continued to lag far behind expectations. Recently, it became clear that the entire T100 series will undergo a major overhaul starting next year. That’s why we decided to ask you – the triathlon community – how much confidence you still have in the PTO.

The results are telling: your trust in the PTO isn’t exactly sky-high. The poll drew a huge response, but only 27 percent of you believe the PTO knows what it’s doing. Almost the same number (24%) fear this could be the beginning of the end for the organization. Another 31 percent say the signs aren’t looking good, while 18 percent of respondents simply don’t care anymore.

All in all, it seems the PTO still has a lot to prove if it wants to win back the confidence of athletes and fans alike.
